Nii Bars are organic premium balanced nutrition bars loaded with high-quality, unprocessed and clean ingredients.

They are nut-butter based, mineral rich and high in essential fatty acids. This makes for a nutrient-dense bar, high in fiber and protein, thus creating sustained energy.

Having nut butter instead of a sweetener as the first ingredient ensures a nutrient-dense, sustainable meal. Consuming protein, fat and minerals as the main component means a decrease in the absorption of sugar, and will thus provide long-lasting energy.

Instead of processed sugar, Nii Bars are sweetened with coconut nectar, the sap from the coconut palm. It is a low-glycemic index sweetener, meaning you will stay full and energized for longer, while avoiding a sugar low. It is unprocessed; therefore maintaining a high amount of enzymes and minerals, along with vitamins B and C and 17 amino acids. Coconut nectar is lower in fructose than other popular sweeteners, such as agave, and so does not need to be metabolized by the liver.

Eating organic will reduce the toxic load of chemicals in our bodies and on our planet. Organic foods contain higher amounts of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, probiotics and phytonutrients than non-organic foods, without the risk of pesticides, herbicides, petroleum by-products and heavy metals. Consuming organic foods protects our soil for future generations, promotes biodiversity and preserves the integrity of our oceans, air and drinking water.

The bars are never heated, meaning the nuts and seeds retain their complete integrity and the essential oils remain undamaged. Furthermore, living enzymes are present in all raw foods, and the vitamins and minerals contained have increased bioavailability.

We have nothing to hide. You can recognize and pronounce every ingredient in a Nii Bar. Each ingredient can be easily found at your local farmer’s market or health food store. You will never find fillers, binders, preservatives or additives in Nii products. We source all our ingredients from organic, sustainable, fair trade farms.

Gluten is a naturally-occurring protein found in cereal grains, such as wheat, barley, rye and spelt. Gluten forms a glue-like substance when exposed to water. When we ingest gluten, the cells of our immune system may mistake this substance for a foreign invader and can launch an attack on this intruder, therefore leading to inflammation in the gut. Gluten consumption has been found to be associated with autoimmune disease and may also lead to addictive eating patterns.

Soybeans contain a large quantity of anti-nutrients, some of which are potent enzyme inhibitors. These enzyme inhibitors can block the action of protein digestion, which can lead to amino acid deficiencies, gastric distress and enlargement of the pancreas.
Soy is high in phytic acid, which hinders the absorption of essential minerals, and contains goitrogens which can block thyroid hormone production. It contains endocrine disrupters, that can lead to hormonal imbalances, infertility and weight gain. In addition, most soy is genetically modified and therefore introduces additional health dangers to our bodies.

Consuming as many vegan foods as possible will not only benefit your health but will also benefit the health of our planet. Eating low on the food chain will decrease your carbon footprint, as these foods utilize less resources, such as water and energy, for production.
